You are a folklorist, and after you learn that a certain remote and isolated village has a unique religion, you decide to make their beliefs, and the origins of those beliefs, the subject of your new research. So you go to visit the village; however when you arrive there is no one in the village, except for the idol still standing in the center of the village.
